Chainette Fringe – 14" – Red

This 14” chainette fringe is made in the USA and sold by the yard, and can be easily pulled apart for hand tying or sewn directly onto shawl fabric as-is. For most projects, 2½–3 yards is typically enough to hand-tie an average 60” × 60” shawl.

With the extra length, this fringe works exceptionally well for double or triple tying, creating movement and visual depth. Chainette fringe is commonly used for women’s dance shawls and regalia, an essential element of many dance outfits worn when entering the dance arena. Shawl styles vary depending on the dance tradition.
